- Salvador de Bahia, on the side of the historic center: New glamour vs old glamour.
- Salvador de Bahia has a lot of empty buildings around the historic center. Must have to do with corruptions. The owners hide and keep property without developing it, they say it's a lot of Chinese money.
- We stayed in the behemian quarter Santo Antônio Além do Carmo next to the historic center, and started the day at Padoca do Carmo
- Arriving in Salvador de Bahia: Largo do Pelourinho with the blue Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of the Black People. Pelhourinho is the name of the historic center and means pillary so you know what happened here
