Romania

Travelling for a week around Romania in September 2017. Very friendly people, cool cities like Cluj, Brasov and especially Bucharest, and beautiful nature. Maramures National park is in the very north on the border to the Ukraine. On a day hike up to its hightes mount Farcau at nearly 2000 m I met Vassiou who introduced me to Johan and two other guy living up there. Johan had lived in Austria for 14 years and is now back here proud owner of 35 cows. Vassiou walks up the hill to find his two horses who are grazing here somewhere. A couple is living in a hut up here, looking after Johan's cows, making milk and cheese, and offering us some dubious alcoholic mixture.
