Long weekend in and around Thessaloniki. Driving down to Halkidiki at first, to the middle finger (of course), a small tourist town on the eastern coast called Sarti, still half asleep before the season starts and thus very charming. Good view to Mount Athos opposite the shore. Then back to Thessaloniki to wander the city, have food, and a day outside the city on the coast, in a national park. Flat land, green and with many birds and cows.
